Software Quality Assurance

JOB SUMMARY Manage supply base to support HEC requirements for quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness.  Coordinate supplier activity with HELLA Global Quality Office and appropriate HEC departments.  Develop supplier operating and quality management systems, evaluate supplier supporting procedures, and train, coach and mentor suppliers to help them meet HELLA's expectations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Using input from PSOs / PPAPs coordinate supplied product receiving information for Incoming Inspection. Coordinate supplier sorting activities with containment identification and requirements. Coordinate all in-production engineering changes (PSO/PPAP with supplier).  Review and approve supplier PPAPs.  Ensure PPAPs are satisfactorily completed within the planned time. Contact supplier representative when a defect is detected and initiate problem solving activities to correct the nonconformity.  Work with supplier to correct the problem and track actions to closure. Track and report all applicable cost of non-quality charges tied to the nonconformities. Survey key suppliers and prepare report (Supplier Control Code Matrix). Follow up and consult with suppliers on systems development and improvement projects, including but not limited to component quality and delivery issues. Develop training as needed for suppliers. Coordinate supplier-related activities with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality. Collect and analyze CPK data from suppliers as needed. Collect material certifications from suppliers as needed. Complete the required training for the position (see Training Plan for Quality). Learn and work within the SAP system daily. Process Q2s. Must be familiar with all monthly reporting functions pertinent to the SQE department. Complete the quality plan for purchased parts. Provide liaison with the Plymouth Office to help resolve supplier quality issues. Strive for continuous improvement in performing job duties and responsibilities. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Bachelors Degree in an Engineering or Quality related field is preferred, or 5 to 10 years experience in related field. Must have excellent communication skills with all levels of management and workforce. Must be able to travel 75% of the time. Must have computer skills. Must have good report writing skills. Must have strong SPC knowledge and be able to train these techniques to suppliers. Must be able to understand blueprints and SPC concepts on a training level and adapt to software programs used to perform job functions. Must be able to work in a team environment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
